HOW TO QUICKLY TAKE A SCREEN SHOT USING YOUR KEYPAD

Even found yourself looking at something on your screen, say a photo or a recipe, and wanted to take a quick photo of it so you would have it later on, well this next trick works great and saves you from having to open up a screen capture program or digging around for a snip-it tool.
Hold down your windows key on the lower right of the keyboard, between the Fn and Alt key, while holding down the windows key, press the print screen key one time, marked PrtSc - on my laptop it is located right next to the F12 key at the top of the keyboard.  This will save you a lot of time, now to locate your screen shots, go into pictures and look for a file folder marked Screenshots - its as easy as that.

HOW TO QUICKLY ADJUST BRIGHTNESS OF YOUR LAPTOP SCREEN

Your at a website or watching a movie and want to adjust the brightness of your screen;
press and hold the Fn key and just below the right shift key, press the right arrow to add more brightness to your screen or press the left arrow to darken your screen.

HOW TO QUICKLY ADJUST YOUR LAPTOP VOLUME

Your at a website or watching a movie and want to turn the volume up or down but don't want to interfere with what your doing, like making the screen smaller so you can access your volume control.
Hold down the Fn key, and just below your shift key on the bottom right, press the up arrow to increase the volume or press the down arrow to lower the volume.

HOW TO FIX A TOUCH PAD THAT STOPPED WORKING

HAS THIS EVER HAPPENED TO YOU?

Your laptop touch pad suddenly stops working. You go into settings and it shows its turned on, and still it fails to work - what next?  I have two laptops this has happened to, including the one I am currently using, and learned that you can accidentally turn off your touch pad and it will no longer be active - even when your settings shows its turned on, and the fix for this problem is quick and easy.
First;  place one finger on the Fn key located at the bottom left of your keyboard.
Second;  while folding down the Fn key, use another finger and push the F7 key one time - that's it, your touch pad should come back to life.  If it still doesn't work, there are other fixes you can find on Youtube, but this fix solves the problem most of the time.
